  1. @mmacritics Placing the bridge hand closer to the cue ball allows for more accuracy on the cue ball hit, and the power is generated by the speed used and a long follow through. But, different things work for different people, so use whatever works best for you. And yes, you can put the cue ball anywhere behind the line.

In my and my fathers opinion, putting the cue ball more backwards gives you the opportunity to use a closed hand bridge on the pool table side and thus being able to hit the cue ball alot harder and more accurate. And also, isnt it smarter to put your hand further along the back of the cue stick to gain more power? These are just questions and opinions, and id like to know what you think about them 🙂
    Also, can i put the cue ball anywhere behind the line?
